His 45-year career found him to be the source of news for an entire generation of Green Bay area viewers from 1965 to 2002. A 1957 graduate of Brown Institute of Radio and Television, he served his first eight years in broadcasting in radio in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He became Sports Director/Anchor at WBAY-TV in 1965 and in 1971 became its News Anchor, continuing as one of Green Bay’s leading newscasters for the next 31 years. During his career, he was active in fund raising and supporting for the Boy Scouts, Cerebral Palsy Research, the March of Dimes, and the Fox Valley Domestic Abuse Center and was an elder at his Green Bay Community Church. He retired from broadcasting at the end of 2002.
