Wisconsin Broadcasters Hall of Fame members are honored for their contributions and service to the broadcasting industry.
Nominees will be evaluated based on:
- their integrity and leadership while working in or supporting the broadcast industry,
- their impact on the station(s) and communities they served, and
- their impact on broadcasting in the state of Wisconsin
Nominations can be made by the general public, but all nominations should include an endorsement by at least one of the following: a current employee of a Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA) member station, a retired Wisconsin broadcaster, a WBA Foundation Board member, or a member of the WBA Hall of Fame.
To be eligible, nominees must have served a minimum of 20 years in, or in support of, Wisconsin broadcasting.
A Hall of Fame nomination may be considered for a WBA Local Broadcast Legends Award in the event the WBA Hall of Fame committee believes the nominee is a better fit for this award.
While this criteria will serve as a guide, the WBA Hall of Fame Committee will make the final determination each year on who will be selected for the WBA Hall of Fame.
Nominations open Nov. 1 and deadline is Jan. 15. All nominations must be submitted through this form. Inductees will be informed by March 1.
